Guests consistently praise the property for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and prime location for walking and exploring the local area. The modern bathroom and well-equipped kitchen are frequently mentioned, as is the friendly and helpful nature of the owner. While there are a few minor criticisms, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as spotless and well-maintained. This indicates a strong attention to detail in keeping the property clean.
The location is highly praised for its scenic views, proximity to local amenities, and access to walking routes. The village's charm and the nearby pub add to the appeal, although one review mentioned noise from upstairs neighbours.
Comfort is frequently commended, especially the beds and underfloor heating. However, a few guests found the sofas and beds uncomfortable, and one noted the property could be cramped for four adults, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and private parking. Some guests noted the lack of a DVD player and initial supplies for the log burner, suggesting room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owner. Therefore, this category cannot be scored, and guests should not expect gifts during their stay.

Under floor heating in the bathroom was brilliant. A few annoying things though. Water didn't stay warm all day and had to keep putting on a couple of switches at least twice a day. Radiators not very warm. Cutlery and mugs just 4 of each so had to keep washing up or putting dishwasher on. Only one toilet roll! Lounge door very draughty.
