This delightful end-terrace cottage comes with fabulous, far-reaching moorland views and a private garden. The property is warm and welcoming and features a spacious sitting room with cosy open fire, a lovely summer room and a kitchen with dining area and patio doors allowing beautiful views across the surrounding countryside. On the first floor you’ll find two spacious bedrooms with modern en-suite shower rooms. There is a walled garden and a private patio provides the perfect place for relaxing on a summer's evening whilst studying the canal barges that drift by. A myriad of walks lead from the doorstep of Jess Cottage, which is a wonderful choice at any time of the year. Note: This property is next to Refs. 12552, 913342 and 913346, together they sleep 20.
Skipton is known as The Gateway to the Dales. The town is home to a high street with lively market, many tea rooms and an ancient castle, plus canal trips can be enjoyed or visit Embsay Steam Railway, which is just one mile away.

Lovely view from the garden and lounge. Great secure garden for our dogs. Comfortable beds and spacious en-suite bathrooms to both bedrooms was a great bonus. We found the kitchen a bit outdated and the doors and surfaces are well worn and could do with renewal to give it a lift. Although the kitchen was well equipped we felt we needed to wash everything before we used it. Having said that, the cottage delivered what we needed for our 4 day stay and there was more than enough space for us all to relax in the evenings after our walks.

It is in an excellent location adjacent to the canal. Skipton is a beautiful place to take a holiday especially in this cottage. I will NEVER book another holiday through Sykes cottages as their customer service is not available. Most of the telephone numbers listed on their website are unavailable and the actual main listed number for customer service is no longer in use|. After a very long wait on one of the numbers that was actually answered I was told they could not give me a contact number as everything should be done via their website - which as stated is useless in the event you should need to speak to a human. I even sent a first class recorded letter to the Group Chief executive outlining the numerous problems we experienced with Sykes prior to going on this holiday. He couldn't be bothered to reply and got one of his staff to offer a ridiculous answer to the specific points I had raised. I would suggest my letter had been read by AI as it could not possibly have been read by anyone with common sense. I am certain this comment will find its way into the bin and no-one else will be given the opportunity to read it. I will go to great lengths to make my views known to the general public about the unavailability to speak to a human within the Sykes organisation Tony Griffiths Booked 3-10 July 26

Spacious accommodation. Garden lovely for the dog but a small dog could escape into next door through the gate.
