We have just returned from Ladycroft House after a 2 week stay and we did not want to leave! I cannot fault our stay whatsoever. The pictures do not do it justice, the living room and kitchen are really spacious much bigger than they look! The kitchen has absolutely everything you could want or need. The views from the kitchen are absolutely stunning. The living room was really comfortable with a cosy log burner which we used every night. The beds were very comfortable with lovely views both of the village church and over the fields and hills at the back. Lots of storage. There is the addition of a lovely reading area with comfortable chairs. The location of the property is great. Whilst it's in a village, the property is set right at the back backing onto farm fields so it feels really private and not overlooked. It is joined onto Ladycroft Cottage but it doesn't feel imposing. A short walk down the lane takes you to the Old School Tea Room which serves breakfasts, lunches and really yummy cakes! Slightly pricey but you do get decent portions. The local pub was very welcoming, we didn't eat there but everyone was very friendly when we called in for a drink. Directly behind the property is the walk from Hebden to Grassington which I'd really recommend if you like walking, it isn't too far (2 miles there 2 miles back) and flat most of the way with stunning views. You can also see Linton Falls and the Hebden suspension bridge if you want to walk a bit further. I would highly recommend staying here at Ladycroft House and we would definitely return!

Jane is a very good host very accommodating. Cottage is very clean and has lovely views over the fields. Great base to explore the dales and a lovely log burner to return to after being out in the cold weather. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.
