Norm's Nook is a well-received cottage in Skipton, praised for its cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient location close to Grassington. Guests appreciate the property's period features, nearby walks, and the array of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The cottage is also noted for being baby-friendly and offering a warm welcome, including a generous hamper for some guests.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-presented. One mention of a stained mattress cover suggests a minor oversight, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with easy access to local attractions, walks, and village amenities. Parking is noted as a bit tricky, but this does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback.
Comfort is a strong point for Norm's Nook, with guests finding the cottage cosy and well-equipped. The steep stairs to the loft and the limited initial supply of logs for the fire are minor concerns.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-stocked kitchen and thoughtful touches for babies. However, some guests noted a lack of bin bags and a meagre fire starter pack, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.
The property owners are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly towards families with babies. A welcome hamper is mentioned by some guests, which adds a special touch, though it should be noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

We were looking for a cosy cottage near Grassington and this was perfect! Not only was the cottage exactly what we wanted (cosy, well stocked with all the kitchen essentials, and the DVDS!), it was very close to the square and to some lovely, easy walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be going back next year!
