Norm's Nook in Skipton is a well-received cottage, praised for its cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient location close to Grassington. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches for families with babies and the welcoming feel of the property. While there are some minor issues with parking and maintenance, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many looking forward to returning.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-presented. One mention of a stained mattress cover suggests a slight deduction, but overall, the property maintains high standards of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for being close to the village centre, with easy access to local amenities and walks. The convenience and beauty of the area contribute to a positive experience.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and period features. Some comments about steep stairs and the need for sofa updates indicate room for improvement, but overall comfort is rated highly.
The property is well-equipped, with a special mention of baby-friendly amenities. However, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as a broken toilet and a non-functional TV, which impact the score.
The cottage is appreciated for its thoughtful provisions, including a welcome pack and baby equipment. While these extras are warmly received, it's important to note that such gifts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Very comfortable, well equipped, decorated for Christmas, a goodie bag on arrival, efficient central heating, a great time had by all our party.

Pictures did not do the cottage justice. It was a beautiful mix of modern and old. There was everything you would need and more. I would return. Communication was also good. To be picky the sofas could do with being replaced as defo seen better days. A gripe for a lot of properties now is the checking in/out times. They have not gone back to pre-covid days. Check in 4pm is too late!

We were looking for a cosy cottage near Grassington and this was perfect! Not only was the cottage exactly what we wanted (cosy, well stocked with all the kitchen essentials, and the DVDS!), it was very close to the square and to some lovely, easy walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be going back next year!
