A few minutes walk from Skipton’s bustling town centre, yet with peaceful walks on the doorstep, Whitehorn Lodge offers an ideal base from which to explore the area. Skipton, ’Gateway to the Dales’, has a thriving town centre with a large variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and tea rooms, a Medieval castle and canal along which boat trips can be taken. It is also host to a market four days a week. Picturesque Grassington, is only 15 minutes drive with Wensleydale, Swaledale and Ribblesdale all within an hours drive.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whitethorn Lodge. Debs met us on arrival and took time to explain everything. Beautiful vase of flowers and milk provided. Extremely comfortable in a lovely location. Home from home.

We had a lovely holiday. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owner was very welcoming and showed us around. Local amenities in Skipton were just a 10 minute walk plus there was a handy bus stop outside. Great base for walking in Wharfedale. Would thoroughly recommend.
