Nice cosy little place, very clean and good facilities. Only negatives are front bedroom faces street and can be little noisy, and dual parking space next to property shared with neighbour is a little tight for a car. My friend and I were motorcycle touring so not an issue. Great village shop with fresh coffee and food to order, and mini mart, 1 min walk away. Royal Oak pub 2 mins walk away, good food and beer, not the cheapest but our evening meals were worth it.

My wife and I had a lovely 3 night stay here. It's a beautiful cottage and would highly recommend staying there. We would stay there again if ever we were to visit this part of the country again. There is plenty to do and see and the scenery and countryside are amazing.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and felt cozy. The parking was very tight as the shared driveway was used by the neighbours big car, only just squeezed in my Golf. Unfortunately my daughter scrapped some paint of my car door when getting out when it hit the wall due to the tightness. There isn't really any alternative parking apart from the street. A coffee machine might have been a nice perk, along with perhaps some board games. The local shop is very small, but you're not too far from Harrogate where there is plenty of choices. Worth noting that we were not able to get a takeaway, not the end of the world, but keep that in mind for the first night!Overall I would recommend this cottage.
