Sleeping 16 guests, the seven-bedroom holiday haven sits in gorgeous grounds, with a walled garden, hot tub and giant chessboard, 2.5 miles from the centre of the cathedral city and close to the fringes of Nidderdale. Bring a canine companion too.
Wander inside the handsome, stone property, which has green features such as air source heating, rainwater harvesting and solar energy. Leave your shoes in the boot room and head into the magnificent kitchen/diner, with its breakfast bar and large table. While away your evenings together in the large lounge, where you can watch the Smart TV and play charades together, or the games room, which has another Smart TV, as well as a pool table. All seven fabulous bedrooms have en-suite bath or shower rooms. Two king-size bedrooms, one also with a freestanding bath in the bedroom and courtyard doors, are downstairs. Another king-size, with an additional toddler bed, can be found up on a mezzanine level. The remaining bedrooms, three more king-sizes and a twin, are on the first floor. Spill out into the courtyard garden to socialise in the sunshine. Lounge in the bubbling hot tub, dine under the stars and congregate around the fire pit. Play chess, take your pet to run in the paddock and the children to see the farm animals. There is parking for seven cars.
