Fully renovated, this cottage offers wonderful views across the attached meadow and across beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside. This first-class cottage offers outstanding accommodation of great character and charm, featuring a spacious farmhouse-style kitchen which is modern and well-equipped and a dining and sitting area which is a wonderful space with cathedral ceilings and lovely exposed original beams. The adjoining sitting room boasts a warm and cosy woodburner and fabulous views of the surrounding meadows through the wall-to-wall picture windows.
The four bedrooms, superb en-suite facilities and the beautiful bathroom with luxurious Jacuzzi bath all combine to provide a holiday home of real style. For those wishing to get away from it all and enjoy fine country living, beautiful walks and the tranquillity of this Dales location, this cottage is perfect for you. The village boasts one of the finest pubs in the area, serving excellent cuisine and a good range of real ales. Nearby Harrogate boasts a wide variety of quaint pubs, tempting restaurants and colourful antique shops, whilst the magnificent Turkish Baths, old theatres, and Bettys tea room - overlooking Montpelier Gardens - are not to be missed.

We all loved; There was so much room in the barn and it was laid out so wonderfully well and a Christmas tree to set the scene. A real gem in the dales with easy access to Patley Bridge, Ripon, Wetherby and Harrogate.

There are lots of positive things about the cottage, but lack of detail let it down. I don't want to make a list but little things like all the exterior doors being difficult to open and close, dishwasher that doesn't clean and stiff or leaky taps. So really good but just need maintenance to make it above 4 stars.
