An ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts eager to explore the mighty Yorkshire Dales National Park, this fabulous micro lodge offers the perfect base for two and their up to two canine companions to come home to after a day of adventure. The studio-style lodge sits within a country park less than 1 mile from the charming Wensleydale town of Hawes. The town is best known for its most famous export, Wensleydale cheese. You can visit the Wensleydale Creamery for tours, as well as stock up on delicious goodies to take home with you. The Dales Countryside Museum is also a must-visit (0.5 miles), alongside a selection of country pubs. The town is a starting point for plenty of walks in the National Park, including the Pennine Way. Follow this long-distance pathway up towards Keld (9.5 miles), passing Hardraw Force, Simonstone and Shaw Gill Wood (all 2 miles) as you follow the waymarked footpath.
This wood-panelled lodge is small yet mighty, a bijou accommodation choice with more than enough room for two to feel right at home. The studio-style property offers relaxing, cooking, dining and sleeping all in one inviting space, with a cosy sofa and lovely double bed right beside it, allowing you to rest and unwind. There’s a Smart TV opposite, promising cosy film nights from bed or whilst curled up on the sofa. The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need for breakfast or lunch prep, including a microwave and hob for light cooking, while a dining table for two sits beside it. Separate from this main living space, a bright, modern en-suite shower room completes the property’s offering.
Whilst there’s no outdoor space directly beside the property, you’re welcome to enjoy the tranquil lawn spaces of the holiday park before stepping out for walks on your doorstep. Private parking is allocated for one car, connecting you to the wider Dales.
