The Coach House offers a peaceful and picturesque setting with beautiful gardens and easy access to the village and local attractions. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and lovely views. The property is particularly praised for its location and outdoor space, making it ideal for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Some areas could benefit from maintenance, such as the handrail, carpets, and heating, especially in colder months. While most found the cottage clean and comfortable, a few noted issues with the bed and bathroom. Overall, it provides good value and a memorable stay in a stunning area.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with positive remarks about the new kitchen and general upkeep. However, a few reviews mentioned issues such as carpets coming away and the need for some decorative repairs.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to the village, river, and waterfalls, and easy access to local attractions. Guests consistently highlight the beautiful setting and convenience.

Guests generally found the cottage warm and cosy, with comfortable beds mentioned by some. However, others found the bed too soft and noted that the heating could be inefficient in colder weather, affecting overall comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped, with a new kitchen and good amenities, but several guests noted maintenance issues such as a loose handrail, carpet, and bathroom tile, as well as a weak shower and intermittent WiFi.

There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

The Coach House us a lively apartment but the grounds and the hallway could do with a bit of TLC. Although it's advertised as a 2 bedroom cottage it really is only big enough for 2 people in the living room. There should also be clear instructions on where you can go in the grounds, which were a bit overgrown, as we couldn't find a BBQ. The garden by the river across the road says private. It should say that it belongs to The Grange, because if it wasn't for the pictures on the website we wouldn't have known we could enter. Also tge pictures on tge website need updating because the grounds certainly don't represent a true picture

Loved the cottage. Beds great but a very heavy duvet during a very hot week!. No locality info. Had to take recycling up to the village. Needs a pair of oven gloves and tongs.

A good stay at the coach house. All nice and clean and everything worked well. Good views of the beck and garden although the courtyard and stairway could do with a good tidy up.All in all a good stay
