This South facing cottage was formerly an artist’s studio, and has been transformed to provide a wonderful quaint cottage with high quality modern fixtures and fittings and stunning views in every direction, making it the perfect place to relax and watch the world pass by. The triple aspect reception room looks towards the historical Bolton Castle from one window, a very enviable sight, and enjoys stunning panoramic far reaching views of the rolling Wensleydale fells from the other windows, a truly magical setting. What a fantastic little place this is. Really well equipped for everything including the dog. Lovely little welcome pack including local beers, biscuits and coffees. Location is stunning, even though we had awful weather it made it more enchanting. Spotless inside, lovely and warm, comfortable bed and just tranquility. Perfect break away 👌

Lawson's Studio is in a beautiful and very quiet setting, we enjoyed our damp, mostly misty Christmas week here. We walked from the cottage to Redmire and on 3 to 5 mile walks from Carperby, Askrigg, Leyburn, Wensley and round Semer Water, all excellent. The cottage is very well equipped with kitchen stuff, walking books, maps and DVDs. The owners were very helpful and left a cheering welcome pack.
