Had a lovely break in Thornton Rust. Location is ideal for all our favourite locations and a few new ones too. We found the cottage a little cold when we came back late afternoon but the log burner soon warmed it up. Owners were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t realise it was a shared garden which made it more difficult with my dogs as they are not very friendly but more social dogs would be fine.

The whole family had a great time. The owners were really helpful with local knowledge. Was a lovely gesture with tea coffee sugar and milk being left for us and treats for the dogs. The wine and ice cream were very much appreciated too, Would definitely recommend
