Lovely cottage located on the edge of Muker, with off road parking outside the cottage on a grass verge. Small front garden, but perfect for relaxing at the end of the day with a coffee or a glass of something cold. The cottage itself is quite spacious with an excellent stone flagged hallway, perfect for coats and walking boots (even space for rucksacks too). The lounge/dining room is lovely with beautiful views to the rear of the fields. We loved all the shuttered windows. Plenty of space to chill out watching TV or reading. The kitchen is quite sweet, my husband felt as though he was in a National Trust kitchen! Excellent fridge/freezer, more than enough space to stack up for the week with picnic items etc. There's even a downstairs loo, very handy!Upstairs there is a substantial landing again providing storage space or drying space for clothes. The bathroom has one of the best showers we've come across in a holiday cottage. Both bedrooms are comfortable, with those gorgeous views of fields etc. We spent quite a time watching the sheep and rabbits.Muker is a perfect base for exploring the wider area of the Yorkshire Dales, though if the driver needs a break from driving there are a number of excellent walks straight from the door. We loved our stay at Arngill and plan to return as soon as we can!

We’ve stayed in nearly every rental in Muker so we’re really happy to try something new at Arngill. A lovely cosy cottage a little outside of the village, the location couldn’t be more perfect! We thought the living space downstairs was excellent and spacious, and the kitchen was very well appointed. Upstairs felt smaller but very cosy. Our only negatives were there was no hairdryer or washing up liquid, things we’ve not brought in over 30 odd years of self catering cottages as they’re always provided, however not major enough that we would not happily recommend and also return ourselves.
