The owners were really nice and on hand should we have needed anything. The Shoulder of Mutton pub in Middleton Tyas had great food and real ale. Best to book though as it gets really busy.

There is easy access to the A1 which was a revelation to us, coming from rural Lincolnshire. The property was very clean and comfortable and well maintained. The owner kindly provided us with a generous welcome basket plus milk and wine.

Cottage was exactly as advertised, we were met on arrival by Jackie the owner who explained where things were and how the heating worked. A lovely welcome pack was awaiting in the kitchen where tea coffee milk and sugar had thoughtfully been provided for that much needed brew after our journey. If in the area we would definitely book Magnolia cottage again
