Scarr House Farm and adjacent barn have been combined to offer superb holiday accommodation with 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 shower rooms, which is perfect for family gatherings and groups of friends sharing! The spacious living room with polished wood floors, beamed ceiling and open fire is warm and welcoming with views over the open countryside to the front and rear. A large enclosed garden and paved patio is perfect for children as well as adults who can relax and enjoy a barbecue whilst admiring the views of the dale. The ground floor offers wheelchair access along with a bedroom and spacious wet room.

A great location and very comfortable and well equipped house . I would really recommend it for groups of friends or large family groups. Our minor grip was that the single beds were a tad uncomfortable. That aside we had a great stay and would be happy to return.

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you'd need to cook, cutlery, pots, accessories, just perfect. It was so spacious for my brother who uses an electric wheelchair, he has no trouble getting around the ground floor, using the bathroom downstairs and showering etc and getting in and out the property easily. It was just lovely, the outdoor area is perfect too. Bedrooms were comfy and spacious and clean. Would definitely return.

11 of us had a fabulous week in this beautifully located cottage. The cottage is extremely well equipped with everything you need for cooking meals for a large number and a great range cooker. There is ample hot water and the internet signal is very good. The lounge area is comfortable with several sofas and a real fire. The first supply of logs is provided but you need to get your own after this. There is a bar/guest house in Thwaite where you can have a drink and eat and also a pub in Muker with good food. The nearest town for shops is Hawes about 6 miles away.
