The spacious living room with polished wood floors, beamed ceiling and open fire is warm and welcoming with views over the open countryside to the front and rear. A large enclosed garden and paved patio is perfect for children as well as adults who can relax and enjoy a barbecue whilst admiring the views of the dale. The ground floor offers wheelchair access along with a bedroom and spacious wet room.

This was the sixth time that our family group of adults and children have been to Scarr House Farm and we had a wonderful time. The location is excellent for us - some people cycle, some walk, some go to the the pub and some just sit and read looking at the lovely scenery. The living room is excellent for evening games and chats. We have had problems with big flies in the past but it was much improved this year.

A great location and very comfortable and well equipped house . I would really recommend it for groups of friends or large family groups. Our minor grip was that the single beds were a tad uncomfortable. That aside we had a great stay and would be happy to return.
