The Coach House in Richmond offers a spacious and comfortable stay with well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and a selection of games. Set in a beautiful location with local walks and pubs, it's ideal for a countryside retreat. Some guests noted the property could benefit from maintenance and addressing damp issues, but overall, the charm and facilities make for a pleasant holiday experience.
The property was generally found to be clean by guests, with good quality bed linen and towels. However, some guests noted the need for a deeper clean in areas like the oven and the presence of damp, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for its gorgeous scenery and proximity to local walks, pubs, and a cafe. It's considered a great spot for a countryside retreat, although limited parking is a concern for some.
Guests found the beds comfortable and the reception rooms large, but some reported issues with heating and a need for property refreshment. The presence of damp affected the comfort level for guests with asthma.
The property is well-stocked with kitchen essentials, games, and entertainment options like a Wii. However, maintenance issues such as peeling wallpaper, a non-functional shower, and garden furniture in disrepair have impacted the score.
While some guests mentioned a welcome pack, there is insufficient information on the consistency or quality of thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities are not guaranteed.

A lovely place for a family 'Away from it all' holiday during Feb half term. Walking distance to Reeth which has lots of pubs & a park for kids. A local pub less than a mile, serving food. Only downside was the garden access at the back of house . Need to take your own tea towels but otherwise well equiped. The snow on the hills made some fantastic sledging memories for the children & food at the Kings Head was divine . Recommended.

The coach house is a good size and comfortable, especially the beds.It looks a little tired and in need of some TLC. The main problem though is the central heating, none of the downstairs radiators are working so was very cold and making the kitchen are too cold to spend much time in.There is an electric heater in the lounge but most of its heat goes up the stairs as there is no way to shut the lounge off. Also the area outside the property needs a decent outside light as we found the area under foot treacherous due to uncleared rotting leaves and the rain, the surface is cobbled and is very uneven and da gerous in the dark.

Away at the coach house for Christmas, beautiful place with all the facilities for self catering. We had 8 adults and a woofer 🐶 , space was plentiful. River walks , church nearby and pubs in Reeth , we couldn’t ask for more. The only downside we had was the communication, we did try to extend our stay by one night but we never got an answer so we left accordingly. Overall fantastic place , we would go again for sure .
