Cow Byre is a fabulous barn conversion nestled comfortably within the soothing countryside of North Yorkshire, close to the superb market town of Malton. Resting delightfully all on the ground floor and sitting close to many of North Yorkshire's wonderful attractions, this is a superb choice for a country cottage holiday with your friends or family. As you enter this wonderful holiday home, the master bedroom rests to your right, furnished tastefully with a double bed and a vibrant en-suite offering the choice of a bath or a shower. From here, be enticed by the beautifully bright and airy open-plan living room, enhanced charmingly with exposed wooden beams and boasting a range of high-quality fixtures and fittings so you can unwind in style.
The kitchen is well-appointed and boasts glistening granite worktops, while the dining table is one of many rustic wooden features that can be found. When relaxing on the snug sofas, you can choose to watch one of the DVDs thoughtfully provided by the owner, or perhaps just sit and admire the breath-taking scenery through one of many full-length windows. A woodburning stove is a welcoming addition for those chilly evenings. Completing this excellent interior is an immaculate twin bedroom, offering its own TV for those lazy mornings in bed and an en-suite shower room for added convenience. On the sunny days, take a wander outside and make the most of the delightful garden, where the grass is maintained attractively and the patio displays sublime views over the encompassing countryside.
Visitors of all tastes and interests will adore this location, it abounds in magnificent walking and cycling country with the North York Moors and Howardian Hills right on your doorstep. There are also fascinating market towns aplenty, with Malton, Kirkbymoorside and Pickering easy to access, while the coast is also reachable by car if a day at the beach is what you're after. A marvellous, homely cottage in a superb Yorkshire location.
Malton is a market town with interesting buildings, a weekly market and a wide range of amenities. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it ideal for walkers and cyclists. A trip further afield can take you to the coast with Scarborough to the east and York to the south west.

Beds and bedding we are very clean. However we felt the cleaning as slightly lacking, a child sock was found in the twin bedroom between the wardrobe and the chair, an amount of 30p was found on the rug under the coffee table. Our friends put their clothing holder on the top of wardrobe in the double bedroom and on taking it down it was very dusty off the top of the wardrobe. In general we were very satisfied but these little things need attention.

Loved the open plan and cosy nights around the wood burning stove. Lots of great places to visit from this location and easy to find good places to eat out nearby too.
