Summertree Farm is positioned in a secluded, quiet area just 2 miles from the beautiful, picture postcard village of Thornton-le-Dale in the North York Moors. These two lovely, modern cottages have been converted from original farmyard buildings and date back to the 1940’s. One of the cottages is on the ground floor and sleeps, making them ideal for people with limited mobility.
The other cottage is an upside down cottage sleeping four people with the spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area on the first floor to take advantage of the lovely views. Both cottages are very well-equipped and have a lot of character and charm and can be booked separately or together for larger parties. Summertree Farm provides a perfect base for couples and families looking to explore the beautiful areas around North Yorkshire and the pretty villages dotted around the North Yorkshire Moors, an excellent area for cyclists.

I have just spent the weekend at The Mews and I cannot recommend this lovely cottage enough. Excellent features with everything you need. Comfortable, very cosy and spotlessly clean. Bernadette and hubby excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble and thank you for the milk, tea, biscuits and cake on my arrival. Not forgetting the apples from your garden!! Lots of beautiful places to visit in driving distance and perfect walks for me and Robbie my poodle. He enjoyed our stay too. I will definitely be booking again.

Hi stayed for 3 nights made very welcome. Welcome pack and flowers were a lovely touch. Great walks across road for our dog Ted. Only 5 mins from Thornton le Dale and easy reach of Scarborough Filey pickering and whitby all lovely days out. Cottage was very comfortable short of nothing Ted loved his stay also would highly recommend in a heartbeat for quality and value for money. Didn't get to use the pool as it was closed for the winter but didn't miss it out everyday. All in all a great break the owners of the property were really nice always willing to have a chat and ask if you needed anything. Thanks again for a lovely time had by us all x
