Beautiful little cottage, perfect for 2 adults and a baby. We had a lovely stay, Chad and his wife made sure we had everything we needed. Chad was very welcoming on arrival and knowledgeable about the local area with great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We went to the local pub for Sunday lunch which was very good and also ate at the fish and chip van that comes on a Wednesday evening. The cottage is lovely and cozy inside. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The cottage is perfectly placed to vist Whitby, Scarborough, Helmsley, Pickering and other little villages along the way. There are some lovely farm shops with local produce that were really nice and not overly expensive. We loved Cedar Barn with the little railway and really enjoyed the excellent breakfast. We would definitely recommend the cottage if you are looking to visit the area. The only thing I would have liked would be an information book with some of Chad's ideas written down and a bit of info about the local area, bins, check out day, the usual stuff. Chad is always happy to answer any questions but if your like me and worry about being a pain it would be handy to have something to refer to.

Perfect location for exploring the area. Lovely warm welcome by the owner. Lovely place with all you need for a comfortable stay. Super pub just up the road, you need to book for Sunday lunch as it’s very popular. The farm shop and cafe just outside Pickering is superb too. Nearest supermarket is Pickering.
