Please note your lodge will not be available until 4pm.
In line with government guidance to ensure you and your family are safe during your stay social distancing practices will be in place across the park and any shared facilities may be limited or closed.
The on-site bar/restaurant will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays moving forward due to issues with staffing.
Bar and restaurant will be closed between 04/11/2024 - 21/11/2024, and will reopen on the 22/11/2024 due to staff holidays.
Please note that unfortunately due to a fire at the TV mast in Bilsdale, television services are not working on site. However all TVs are Smart TVs and can therefore use internet based TV services.
If you plan on dining at Spencer’s Bar and Grill during your stay, we highly recommend for you to book ahead of your stay to guarantee a table.
Please note charging electric vehicles from your accommodation is strictly prohibited.

Negative- The fridge was old, rusty & not cleaned properly with no door compartment to store milk/drinks. No heated towel rail in either bathroom to dry towels after shower/ hot tub, made showering really cold. Curtains hanging off poles, only basic cooking utensils/cookware. Hot tub lid ripped & disintegrating. Sewage smell from 1 bathroom when flushing toilet, running water.Positive - Fantastic on site restaurant with great value meals, but closed on Mon & Tues & friendly staff. Close to Pickering, peaceful location & lovely country pub with log fire at the end of the lane. The lodge just let it down slightly.

Lovely lodge perfect setup for two couples with a double bedroom and bathroom at each end of the property with the lounge and kitchen area in the centre. Nice decking area with the hot tub and garden furniture and very private.The lodge had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. We will certainly be back

It was poor -The location is great and has the potential to be lovely but website pictures out of date .I wouldn’t recommend it and wouldn’t return .Some basic things overlooked eg no handrail to external step ,shabby furniture ,lack of toilet paper in second bathroom , rusty tin opener ,bathroom light bulbs not working ,filthy glass doors and windows.Damp fusty smell throughout ,complimentary biscuits out of date .
