Excellent cottage in wonderful village. We have stayed i n Thornton le Dale before but first time in Higgledy Cottage. It was central to village. Lovely furnishings everything you could need, even down to shampoo. Lovely welcome basket and the pens and keyring to take away are a nice touch. We will stay again.

Wow, what can we say. Loved this hidden gem. Renovated too a high standard throughout whilst retaining an air of homeowners. Superbly clean and warm. We stayed during bonfire week and even our dog chopped very well with the bands as the apartment is well insulated. Hosts, left a lovely hamper and a card and cake for my partners birthday. We would definitely recommend staying here and will be back. Whilst visiting, don't forget to visit the beautiful church at Ellerburn which had a rich history.
