Host was lovely and the location excellent. The accommodation was comfortable but would benefit from redecorating and updating

We had a lovely few days. Yes the cottage is quite dated , 80s vibe but we knew this from the photos prior to booking. The host and her husband were really nice. Its a great spot for walking into Pickering and a few nice walks with the dog. The place could do with updating and improving the kitchen area would be great place to start. The bedroom and bathroom / en-suite are really nice.

Kitchen was dirty cupboards and general poor. Cooker was outdated and not clean. Whole kitchen needs a revamp. Toilet floor dirty, brush terrible, back toilet dirty . Overall we have never stayed at a property so neglected. Sorry we had to give a bad review, because location was good
