The property was excellent and the welcome basket and extras left by the owner were lovely and very much appreciated. The location is ideal for visiting various tourists spots, we really enjoyed the steam train from Pickering. The village is lovely we will certainly be returning. Thank you Chris.

.in fact the interior photos don't do it justice. Furniture and styling is more modern and sophisticated than shown. Hosts keep in touch and give reassurance throughout. We felt instantly comfortable, delighted and at home.... lovely flow. Beds were a delight (I bought my topper but didn't need it). Thoughtful basics and more provided. Two parking spaces for ease when we had our local friends/family pop over..... really lovely village to take our doggo out and friendly folk around. Secure garden and not too many birds for Nellie to bark at

In a great location within a very picturesque village. We could not fault anything major. A minor nag was that it could do with rubbish bins in the rooms. Owner was very responsive to an issue we had. In a quiet location within a short walk to the village centre.
