On arrival we were dissapointed when we saw all the windows were blown and didn't shut properly. Limescale in the bathroom, shower and sink. Plug wouldn't work. Needed a bath mat as slippery. Sofas uncomfortable. Dining chairs had been replaced with whicker and were uncomfortable. Kitchen cupboards want replacing, not easy to open and close and have got wet at some point, laminate peeling off.Lovely property but needs a refurbishment.!The bay itself is lovely if you have dogs and like walking. The pub is terrible for food. We sat for 2 hrs waiting for a meal and ended up getting a refund! Shop didn't sell batteries for remote control for TV. In general a dissapointment

Arthur’s place was a good size and had everything we needed. The decor is in need of a refresh and some of the furniture and display bowls need replacing. One of the table chairs was partially broken making it unsafe to sit on and a bowl on the nest of tables had a massive crack down it which was worrying that we would be made responsible for the damage but it broken before we arrived. The shower glass does not sit correctly on the top of the bath so water leaked onto the floor. When we arrived the cutlery and drainer needed cleaning as there was food residue on some of the cutlery and the drainer had long standing grease engrained in it. Other than these small issues which did not spoil our stay we would definitely recommend this as a centrally located cottage. We had a wonderful time with our dogs and would definitely book again.
