Renovated throughout for 2025, Low Tide offers stylish comfort and a relaxed atmosphere. The apartment is accessed via a communal entrance hallway, leading to a private front door. Inside, you’ll find a bright and modern open-plan living space, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and two comfortable sofas arranged around the TV – perfect for relaxing after a day by the sea. There are two beautifully presented bedrooms, a spacious master double and a cosy twin, both thoughtfully decorated with calming tones and soft furnishings to create a restful environment. The sleek, contemporary shower room features a large rainforest shower.
Low Tide is ideal for guests travelling with dogs, offering pet-friendly accommodation just minutes from Filey’s beach – a five-mile stretch of sand where both ends welcome dogs all year round. The middle section is also dog-friendly outside the summer season. A lovely 10-minute walk to the beach takes you past St Oswald’s Church and through a small woodland, offering a peaceful start to your seaside day. Filey itself is a charming and unspoiled coastal town, known for its traditional promenade, friendly atmosphere, and array of independent shops, cafés, and restaurants. The apartment is in a good central location and was extremely clean, the furniture was of a good quality and kitchen was reasonably equipped, however there is no dining table! This came as a surprise but we take responsibility for not checking this detail before booking. There were no coat hangers in the double room despite there being a perfectly good rail to hang clothes from. The fire alarm was activated twice, the first time the person who cleans the property was up stairs so he came and disarmed it but he had to move the coffee table into the hall then stand on it so he could reach, we then had to perform the same task the next day when it went off again. This illustrated the fact that there was absolutely no information in the property about what to do in an emergency, no information about where the nearest pharmacy is, health centre, the nearest vets (it is a dog friendly property) and no fire blanket or extinguisher. No information about what to do with the rubbish or recycling, which in our experience of staying in many holiday lets is standard. I appreciate this is the first year of letting for this property so hopefully things will improve but we would not rebook based on the above

Had a lovely stay at Low Tide. Very modern and comfortable. Lovely and warm during the cold evenings. Good location. Would definitely recommend staying there. Only VERY MINOR issues were wrong entry details sent with booking so had to contact the owners to get into the apartment when we arrived, but sorted very quickly. Only other minor issue was that one of the house rules was to take your shoes off at the apartment entrance, which is fine but I have a disability and need to sit down to take my shoes off, which I couldn't do as I could only sit down once inside the apartment! Not complaining, just something for the owners to consider.
