Discounts are available for stays of 7 nights or more. Please ask as they vary. Our Holiday Home has full wrap around decking and is a Swift Bordeaux, 40ft x 12ft. Great corner location by the field-quiet, private and 5 mins walk from the shop and main complex. 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 plus travel cot. We have a double sofa bed also so can sleep 8. It has central heating and double glazing and is very comfortable with lots of extra homely comforts. It is well loved and cared for! Prices from £250 to £1000. 3, 4 and 7 night stays available. Friday, Monday start dates but can also be flexible depending on dates and availability.

Our caravan is situated on Primrose Field on Haven’s flagship Primrose Valley Holiday Park, Filey. This is around a 10 minute drive from Filey or a 30 minute walk along the beach. (Please see Tide Tables before walking on the beach)

There is plenty to do on-site, facilities including 3 pools and a boating/fishing lake. There is also a daily activities timetable with payable activities..

There is a Shop, takeaways and several eating places on-site and many more in nearby Filey and around. The Lakeside complex is perfect for families with an indoor and outdoor play area but is also great for couples as it has beautiful lakeside seating and views. It is set in a beautiful area of the Yorkshire Coast and much to visit and see off-site also with a local bus service actually stopping at the park.

Our holiday home is in a quiet spot in a cul-de-sac on the site and near to a large field and children’s small play area. It is a nice area of the holiday park with mainly privately owned caravans, 5 minutes walk from the main entertainment complex, pool and pub, a 10 min walk to the lakeside complex with restaurant and indoor/outdoor pool and a 10 minute walk to the beach along a local nature walk. Our caravan comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. (A travel cot will also fit in the master bedroom.) There is also a sofa bed in the living area for 2 more. Bed linen is provided and beds are made up for your arrival.

Towels are not included.

Tea towels, hand towels and cleaning products are provided.

Gas and electric are included.

As we regularly use the caravan ourselves the kitchen is well-equipped and there are games, jigsaws, and books for your use. There are also DVDs to watch and we leave a welcome pack so you can have a cuppa before unpacking.

PASSES ARE REQUIRED to enter and use the facilities on site. Prices vary and are available per person or as a group pass. There is a capped price per caravan (Family Pass for up to 8 people) These passes are available from the Haven Reception on site.

Set in the magnificent Filey Bay, Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday, making it an ideal place to stay for walkers and wildlife watchers at any time of the year. Filey Brigg is a low headland that protects Filey Bay and provides good bird watching and seawatching opportunities all year round. The 400 ft high Bempton Cliffs (rspb Reserve) to the south of Filey Bay are home to over 250,000 seabirds in the summer. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels and there is a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated and there are loads of family activities such as Alpamare UK waterpark, Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park and the Filey Dams Nature Reserve, a wetland reserve where all kinds of common and rare birdlife can be seen. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where you will find great beaches, a castle, the Rotunda Museum and the acclaimed Sea Life Centre. Other towns worth visiting close to Filey include Bridlington, Whitby, Hornsea and Saltburn, which all demonstrate the vibrancy of this picturesque North Yorkshire region.
