Scarborough is a wonderful seafaring town that has delighted visitors over the centuries. There is a host of attractions to visit, with plenty to entertain the whole family. Test your swing at Scarborough North Cliff Golf Club, or if you time it right, listen to some live music at Scarborough Open Air Theatre which is one of the biggest in Europe. The oriental gardens at Peasolm Park are inspiring, with paddle boats on the lake through the summer months.
Jump in the car and head further afield to the nearby town of Filey and take the scenic stroll around Crescent Gardens, beautifully maintained with colourful flowerbeds and offering views across the coast. There is also the rspb reserve at Bempton Cliffs where you can see thousands of nesting sea birds, including colourful puffins, for nature lovers. Brilliant place. Great host.I know not everyone goes on a break and washes but that was the only thing we missed the WM. Every thing else was above expectations. 👨🦳

Away from main town area. Quietly situated away from main road, great for walks and views in the gardens/cliff side, also minutes from local shops for groceries and take aways. Easy parking next to accommodation, which was warm when needed, presume would be cool during hot weather. Very pleasant views from windows. Would prefer walk in shower instead of a bath but ok.
