A fabulous, detached property, set back just off the seafront, in the popular coastal town of Scarborough. To the rear of this cottage in Scarborough, is an enclosed sunny courtyard, the perfect spot to sit and relax with a glass of wine after a long day on the beach! Rarely found in central Scarborough, the cottage boasts private parking for one car on the forecourt and a parking permit for a second, a real bonus for guests. For those in search of lovely countryside, the whole of the spectacular North York Moors is within easy reach and many small coastal and inland villages, including Robin Hood's Bay, Danby and Staithes. We have been to Scarborough many many times before, but this was the best accommodation overall that we have been in. It could hardly have been closer to the harbour and could not have been more welcoming, comfortable or better presented. Lots of space and a great feeling of light and airiness. There was car parking on site (a bit of a squeeze for a seven-seater, but do-able). Wi-fi worked (not always the case everywhere) and was fast. We were there over Easter and had a look to see if there were still any summer dates available (sadly, but not surprisingly, there were none). A credit to owner Yvonne.

It is in an ideal position , only a few steps from the front , but quiet. The property itself is spotless , very comfortable, & with absolutely everything you need. I would not hesitate to recommend Quayside House. It is lovingly cared for by the owner Yvonne, who always leaves a welcome,welcome pack. Thanks Yvonne for putting the flags out for our visit or could it be it coincided with the V.E. celebrations.
