A quieter resort than some of its more famous neighbours, Flamborough nevertheless is still packed with charm and a good deal of local amenities, including a shop, pubs, restaurants and even that seaside necessity, good old fish and chips. Bird watchers flock here in droves to visit rspb Bempton Cliffs where you can see puffins between March and August. For a good, old fashioned day at the seaside, head to the spa resort of Bridlington which boasts heaps of activities and traditional seaside fun. Or, head north along the coast and enjoy a day in Scarborough, visit Robin Hood’s Bay or go and shop, eat and maybe take a boat trip around the traditional harbour in the very popular coastal town of Whitby.
For a change of pace, York is a must and history buffs will find much to explore. In the same vein, the area also offers lots of stately homes including Sledmere, Burton Agnes and Burton Constable. Why not take the land train, which travels along the coast up to Sewerby where you can visit the famous Sewerby Hall and Gardens? In fact there is so much to see and do that you are sure to return, just to fit it all in, and having fallen in love with the Light House, you are sure to return there too. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Beautifully decorated bungalow in the most scenic location. The property had everything you could possibly need, even some welcome biscuits and wine! Located in a quiet cul de sac, just a short distance from the wonderful sights Flamborough has to offer. Lovely pubs and tasty award winning chip shop, plus only a short drive from Bridlington and Filey. Can't fault the property or the area, definitely recommend.
