A short flight of stairs leads to the shared entrance hall, and from here you can take the lift or stairs to the second-floor apartment. Set inside a period townhouse, the elegant apartment has been tastefully furnished and is decorated in calming, neutral tones. The beach boasts 2 miles of golden sand, meaning it’s easy to escape the crowds even in the height of summer, and is backed by beach huts that can be hired for the full seaside experience. There are some great family attractions nearby, including Whitby Museum and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (both within 0.5 miles). Heading inland, you’ll soon reach the North York Moors (2 miles), with its plethora of walking routes.
