Please note: There is a shallow unfenced pond in the courtyard.. With views of Danby Dale, these detached, former working barns, set on an organic Grade II listed model farm, date back to the 1800s. Bridle paths and cycle tracks abound through the farm to villages tucked away deep in the valleys of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Visit Kirkby Moorside, Pickering, Helmsley and Guisborough inland, and the coastal villages of Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Whitby. The North Yorkshire Moors steam train travels from Whitby to Pickering, passing through ’Heartbeat’s’ village of Goathland. Shops and pub 1 mile.
Dale House (ISH), North Range (ISJ) and Coltus Lands (ISK) can be booked together to accommodate up to 18 guests.

We had a lovely time in Coltus Lands. Lovely views, very comfortable beds, powerful showers, easy to find, roomy, very nice cottage. Minor things: would like clear instructions on using tv, WiFi fine if 2/3 people using it, some kitchen utensils need replacing, cobwebs in bedroom. None of this detracted from a lovely holiday.
