The detached barn is in an idyllic holiday location at any time of the year, with beautiful walkways and cycling tracks and fishing available from the doorstep. Quaint little villages are abundant with tearooms, country pubs and restaurants. Whitby, with its historic connections to Captain James Cook and 3 miles of sandy beach, is easily accessible. Shops 2 miles.

Finkle Farm is in a beautiful location. Nestled in the gorgeous North Yorkshire dales and moor. The converted barn is absolutely fantastic! It’s warm and comfortable with just the central heating on. (It never got cold enough to justify using the log burner but could imagine how lovely it would be and there was certainly a plentiful supply of logs should they have been needed!) The kitchen is very well appointed with lots of good quality pots, pans, crockery and cutlery etc, it is a true ‘home from home’. All of my family had a lovely, peaceful holiday and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely place to anyone. We would love to return again at some time in the future.Although on a working farm it was quiet and the owners very friendly when we met them on arrival and departure. (Thank you for the welcome pack, the biscuits were loved by everyone!)

100% recommend!! Came as a family of 5 + Our dog. Finkle barn is home from home, super clean, so much care, love and attention has been given to this place! Will absolutely be coming back again, was a shame to leave. The owners are very welcoming and nothing is too much! Lovely walks around the farm, lots of different animals too see.
