Overall we were happy with this place. The location is great if you are mobile as its a 15 minute walk into town.Onsite parking is really convenient. The room and bathroom were very clean upon arrival. However the crockery, and cutlery all needed to be washed before we could use them. The shower is a bit temperamental (goes cold quite quickly)There is only a Microwave (combi), a toaster, and an air fryer for cooking, so breakfast is a bit difficult if you like a fry up, or boiled / poached eggs. Dinner isn't a problem with the copious amount of options available in town. But bear this in mind if visiting on a tight budget. We didn't use the air fryer as it smelt like someone had used it for a week and not cleaned it.The heating in the room is set to default 16 degrees. although when we arrived it had been set to 5. One final thing is the cleaner requesting beds be stripped as a legacy of Covid-19. Come on, be serious, its over, do your own job.

We booked seven nights at Hidden Treasure in Whitby; it was a lovely ground floor room with an ensuite shower with toilet. The open plan room, which includes kitchen, bed and living and eating area, was very clean. The room had a very effective heating system controlled by an easy to adjust wall control, making the studio apartment cosy. It's important to understand that cooking options are a Microwave (combination model) and Air fryer. Excellent location for the beach and town centre. Good value for money.

This studio flat was perfectly situated being only 5 minutes from the whale bones and the steps down to the town. It's situated on a very quiet street so no noise at night. The settee could do with changing though as the springs had long gone on it and I could not sit on it as it was extremely uncomfortable. Also the mattress on the bed needs to be replaced or at the very least turned as there is a huge dip in the middle. Bathroom could do with a better clean as the dehumidifier box had an insect on it and the shelf it was on could have done with a clean. The grouting in the shower needed cleaning and there was quite a bit of limescale build up on the bottom of the shower door. The kitchen facilities were basic but we knew that but the fridge could have done with a clean particularly where the milk goes.
