What a great find, really lovely little cortage. The location is lovely, quiet with a fabulous pub 50yards away for good food. The cottage is superbly equipped with everything in that kitchen you could possibly need. The only comment is, attention to detail from an housekeeping perspective is lacking.Sticky stain on the floor on arrival, bifolds quite dirty and the windows and windowsill were in need of a clean. It didn’t affect the stay and no doubt they probably have a deep clean date in the calendar already but it was just what I found.

This is our second time my partner and I have stayed at this cottage - we love it! The location is great for getting into Whitby (there’s a lovely 2-3 mile walk or it’s an easy drive) and there is a pub next door which does fantastic food. The cottage itself is so clean and has everything you need- even though it is small, it doesn’t feel like it. The decor is great and the hot tub is just wonderful (especially on a frosty January evening!). It was also so lovely to arrive and find a chilled bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! There is also plenty of tea/coffee/sugar (and always some delicious biscuits). Highly recommend this really beautiful cottage for a peaceful, relaxing time away.
