This second floor apartment has the benefit of its own underground car parking space, it has a welcoming feel and is comfortably furnished with an open plan living area, making it a great place to share with family and friends on holiday. The apartment is set over two floors, with the living and dining area at the front with glass doors opening onto the balcony where you can enjoy views over the town to the abbey. The separate kitchen is large and has everything you could wish for when creating freshly cooked meals. The first double bedroom is also on this floor as well as a toilet for added convenience. There is a second double bedroom upstairs complete with an en-suite shower and wonderful views over the neighbouring roofs over to the harbour. A twin bedroom lies beneath velux windows. The family bathroom is on this level, with a hand held shower over the bath.
Whitby Abbey and the red rooftops of the old town make a pretty backdrop. As you amble through the heart of this quaint seaside town, with its cobbled streets, atmospheric harbour and myriad of shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafés, you will be spoilt for things to do. Sample the famous Whitby fish and chips and work them off with an exhilarating cliff-top walk. Whitby has so much to offer, no wonder it is a year round destination for holidaymakers. There is always something happening from the bi-annual Goth Festival to the Whitby Regatta, and their music festivals to the festival of Christmas.
With 3 miles of unspoilt beach, this is a fantastic location to get out and explore the natural beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors and The Yorkshire Heritage Coast. Take a pleasure boat out to sea or a tour bus around the famous sights. Hop on-board the steam train that travels right into the heart of the Yorkshire Moors National Park from Whitby to Goathland famously known as ‘Aidensfield’ in the TV show ‘Heartbeat’. For the outdoor enthusiast, Whitby forms part of the Cleveland Way Walk, a 110 mile walk which comes down the coast through Whitby, finishing at Filey, passing through quaint fishing villages and along rugged coastlines. With stunning scenery and a wonderful coastline, this spacious apartment provides a great base from which to explore Yorkshire’s many attractions. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The only downside was that the bed broke when I sat on it. We reported it, and it was mended within hours though, and we didn't even have to stay in waiting for the repair person.We found this to be a lovely holiday home. Comfortable, with all necessary items in place. Great location. The washing machine is a washer/dryer, which was a nice surprise and good for getting a few bits washed before we went home.

We stay in Whitby every year and this has to be one of the nicest properties we have stayed in. Three really good sized bedrooms, a separate toilet as well as a bathroom and ensuite shower room and all the bits and pieces you need. We stayed as 4 adults and two children and it was ideal for us. Also the bonus of an underground private parking space. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Overall a very spacious and well located apartment for the money with the added bonus of undercroft parking (which takes some getting used to manoeuvring if you have a large car).A few pointers that we would definitely recommend to the owners. New flooring in the kitchen. There must have been a water leakage which has made it discoloured and dank smelling. Most of the carpets are unfortunately spotted and stained and need replacing. The floorboards in the upstairs main bedroom are annoyingly creaky and needs fixing. The en-suite shower room needs a blind and blackout curtains and/or a blind. The main bathroom really needs a shower over the bath, especially if all 3 bedrooms are being used. A welcome pack including milk would have been very handy as there was only tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper! All other equipment is well provided.On the plus side, the apartment is in a central but quiet location, very secure, very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come again if these points mentioned are acted on.
