Sunnydene is a well-loved cottage praised for its cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and prime location near the harbour. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the charm of the property. The occasional mention of complimentary wine and the proximity to local amenities like pubs and seafood restaurants add to its appeal. While parking can be a slight inconvenience, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a favourite for many who often rebook.
Reviewers consistently mention the cottage being spotlessly clean and well-presented, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes to the overall positive experience.
The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with its proximity to the harbour, local pubs, and restaurants. The picturesque setting and sea views are a significant draw, although the mention of a steep hill for parking slightly impacts the score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, cosy, and warm, with several returning visitors. Some minor suggestions for improvements, such as the addition of a fan or a clothes rail, are noted but do not detract significantly from the comfort level.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and smart TV mentioned. However, some feedback on tired cookware and the lack of a washing machine suggests room for improvement in this category.
While guests have expressed appreciation for the complimentary wine, as it is not consistently mentioned across all reviews, it cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, the score for thoughtfulness is set to null.
