Hillcrest is a lovely, spacious Edwardian house situated in a peaceful location in the heart of the market town of Pickering. This traditional property has been sympathetically modernised and provides a good standard of accommodation for couples and families looking to explore this beautiful area. The log burning stove gives it a cosy welcoming feel. It is a perfect base for walkers with a number of countryside walks close by.

Had a wonderful week here. The photos don’t really do it justice, especially the outside space. Had no difficulty parking on the nearby street (Beacon park first avenue) and there’s plenty to do in Pickering and the surrounding area.

Our second week here and enjoyed both stays. The house is very comfortable and clean and has everything you need for your stay. The only problem is there is no instructions about where to put the rubbish and no outside bin to put it in, but apart from that excellent
