Private parking for 2 cars.. Situated in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, on the owner’s working farm, it is a haven of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by meadows and woodland, footpaths and bridleways. The village of Lockton (one mile) has a tea room with the local inns serving good meals. Pickering (six miles) has an array of shops, restaurants and pubs and is home to the Steam Preservation Railway. The ancient fishing port of Whitby is 15 minutes drive away with Scarborough, Filey and York within easy driving distance.

    Had a wonderful stay. James called to say hello and asked if we needed anything which was nice.You do need a car as there are no local shops but that is what we wanted. Very comfortable and so quiet.Will book again without hesitation. Thank You x
