Situated in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, on the owner’s working farm, it is a haven of peace and tranquillity, surrounded by meadows and woodland, footpaths and bridleways. The village of Lockton (one mile) has a tea room with the local inns serving good meals. Pickering (six miles) has an array of shops, restaurants and pubs and is home to the Steam Preservation Railway. The ancient fishing port of Whitby is 15 minutes drive away with Scarborough, Filey and York within easy driving distance.

Lovely cottage but remote car needed for all journeys. Nice area and convenient for Pickering, Whitby, Filey and Scarborough. Very enjoyable week

Pasture Barn is set in a beautiful, rural location. It is comfortable and had everything we needed. Pickering is just a 10 minute drive away for supermarkets and local independent shops. Other attractions are within a car drive away, for example, Whitby, Dalby Forest, Robin Hoods Bay, and plenty of walking and hiking opportunities on the moors. Would recommend.
