Bridleways is a single-storey property, attached to the owner’s home and small work area producing wonderful local ice cream in the summer months. Nestling on the outskirts of the village and close to a working farm, the cottage offers relaxing, ’home from home’ accommodation, with the luxury of an impressive four poster bed. A pebbled courtyard with ample parking space surround this property, complete with garden furniture. Warthill village is renowned for the award winning Breezy Knees Gardens where there are 20-acres of extensive plant varieties and vibrant borders brimming with colour and fragrance from May to September. The popular cafe serves home baking and there is a specialist perennial nursery. The ancient city of York is just 6 miles away with easy access by car or park and ride. Steeped in history and packed with famous attractions including the iconic Minster and the National Railway Museum, York has all year round appeal. There are art galleries and theatres, quirky shops along the cobbled streets and numerous real ale inns and traditional tearooms. Visit Castle Howard, one of Britain’s finest stately homes, 10 miles, and National Trust properties at Nunnington and Beningbrough. The North Yorkshire Moors and the coastal towns of Scarborough and Whitby are all within an easy drive.
