Ebor Cottage offers beautifully presented accommodation with views across the Knavesmire to York Racecourse just outside the historic city centre of York. Ideally placed for two couples or friends to enjoy a weekend at the races.
Within a fifteen minute walk are some of the best tourist attractions in the country, including the iconic York Minster, which is the largest Gothic Cathedral in Northern Europe, the Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum and Cliffords Tower. A day can be spent walking the Roman walls, exploring the Snickleways and alleyways that connect the ancient cobbled streets, or simply enjoying some of the best shopping North Yorkshire has to offer. The city centre is also well known for it’s restaurant and café culture and also has a vibrant night life with some great pubs providing riverside drinking and dining opportunities. Lovely cottage and an ideal location for easy access into York city centre.Cosy living room, and comfy beds /bedrooms. Quiet location while only a very short distance from a main route (Tadcaster Road).Hope to return.

Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean and has everything we needed for a great break in York, especially the really comfortable beds.The off road parking space was a welcome bonus as we could leave the car and take a twenty minute stroll into York centre.Definitely recommend.
