Garden Cottage is a fantastic property which offers a comfortable stay within the charming little village of Appleton Roebuck, which is located just outside York, the second most visited city outside of London. The cottage offers accommodation for up to 14 guests, making this Yorkshire holiday cottage ideal for reunions, multi-family holidays or large groups. It is a characterful and spacious cottage with a farmhouse-style, open-plan kitchen that can accommodate dining for 14 people. The kitchen is open-plan to the large living room which is equipped with a Smart TV and a wood burner for additional heating and character. Outside, the cottage has a private landscaped garden which can be viewed from the conservatory. There is a large patio to the side of the conservatory with outdoor tables and chairs, along with a gas barbecue. Bedrooms are located on both the ground floor and first floor, and one of the bedrooms on the ground floor doubles as a games room, a great place to keep children entertained. Garden Cottage is in a great location and York is approximately 8 miles away, giving you instant access to the pubs, cafés, restaurants, shops and the many tourist attractions it has to offer. Other towns and cities close by are Leeds, Wetherby and Harrogate. Garden Cottage is also on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, which are full of bike trails and beautiful, scenic walks.
