We had a fantastic family holiday at Holly Garth. The property was absolutely spotless, and it is clear the hosts take great pride in maintaining it. The location is perfect - only a short five-minute walk into the centre of Helmsley. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed, and the communication with the hosts was superb from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Very good accommodation and base to discover North Yorkshire. Very clean and well equipped with very comfortable beds! There were 4 adults, 3 children and one dog in our party and it was excellent.

Overall very enjoyable and the house suited our family group. Bedrooms & bathrooms were great. Most taps throughout the house have levers rather than twist and the bathrooms have hooks on the back of doors…both being very useful. The kitchen with table was very comprehensively equipped thank you! With a little more attention the outdoor area with bbq would be brilliant however we felt that this was the area which was overlooked. Regular brushing, some clipping back of shrubs and cleaning of the bar/pool table area would be great. Short cues would be great for the pool table as space is tight & levelling of the table is needed. Perhaps a dart board at the other end? As a group with growing children added games were a necessity for us. Board games in the house were well used in the evenings! 9.30am check-out was a bit unreasonable even 10am would have allowed us to have breakfast together rather than, after completing our check list of the requested tasks, simply rushing out of the door. Sadly there was no flexibility there.
