The property's location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shops, as well as peaceful views of York Minster and the city walls.

The property is well-equipped with modern conveniences in the kitchen and bathroom, alongside period furnishings. The presence of a garden and utility room adds to the facilities' appeal. A few minor issues, such as steep stairs and tricky locks, are noted but do not detract significantly from the overall high standard.
Guests are delighted by thoughtful gestures like fresh flowers and a welcome pack. While these are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed with every stay.
