Very disappointed with this stay. The property was not cleaned properly on arrival hairs in the beds, stains around the property, dirty kitchen items, and a smelly bin with old food left inside. There were also maintenance isues not mentioned in the listing, including a broken cupboard, damage in the bedroom wall, and a dirty/broken hot tub. The host did come to change the bedsheets, but dismised the isue by saying it was only her hair. The isue with the bin was also brushed off as just old food left inside, which was frustrating given the condition of the property. The Hairs on the bedsheets meant that our first night was extremely uncomfortable due to uncleanlines we didnt feed comfortable sleeping in the bed. Overall, the property did not feel properly prepared for guests.

My 2nd time at this property and would highly recommend. Tom the owner is always at hand if theres any problems such a lovely man. The cabin is a good base to explore york and Howards castle .The yorkshire moors are only an hour away which we loved with the dog . The cabin is very equipped with everything you need and more. Thankyou Tom for the xmas tree and decs made it a nice cosy touch.
