This is the third time we have stayed at Riccal Heads, and we love it here. The cottage is a perfect size for six of us - a family but all adults - and our dog. The setting is beautiful, and we love watching the bats, swallows and hares. There is a fabulous walk to Hutton-le-Hole, where Rydale Folk Museum is a must visit. Lots of other places to visit without driving very far too. The cottage is warm and welcoming and just great!! We'll be back for a fourth visit I'm sure!!

We stayed at this cottage for four days and really enjoyed the experience. The location made it easy to travel around and visit nearby attractions, which was a huge plus. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place had a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Its a lovely environment to relax in, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and convenient getaway.
