Situated within York’s ancient city walls, in an attractive courtyard just a few minutes’ walk from the historic city centre with its splendid minster. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, which leads to a stylish and relaxing living room. York’s quaint cobbled streets lead to a plethora of wonderful shops, chic wine bars, restaurants and tea shops; something for everyone! York has many attractions including Jorvik Viking Centre, York Dungeons, Castle Museum and the National Railway Museum, all within walking distance. The racecourse and designer shopping outlet are within a 10 minute drive. Both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Shop and pub 400 yards.

Great spot for enjoying everything York has to offer. We found there was nowhere to put all of our groceries as every cupboard and drawer were full so had to leave them on the counter leaving no workspace. Upstairs every floorboard creaked so it drove us mad. The bathroom was tiny but was made worse by an enormous sink. This left very little room for the toilet and consequently it was difficult not to burn yourself on the heated towel rail that was next to it.

Brilliant house and amazing location everything you could possibly want to see in York is within 10-15 mins walk. Parking included is a massive bonus!

What a fantastic place to stay, the location couldn't of been better being within the city walls and only a 10 min walk from the station. The place was extremely clean and comfortable with everything that would need for a stay. It would be a 5 star review but the floorboards are so loose and noisy on the first floor. If you go to the bathroom especially at night you wake the whole house. That aside we would definately stay at this property again.
