The Lodge provides excellent accommodation throughout, is ideally located to York centre (15 - 20 min walk). The hosts left a selection of treats (wine, milk and bakery items) which was a lovely gesture. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Definitely recommend the property and we intend to return.

This is our second time staying at The Lodge. Great location, by the side of York racecourse. They have at least 2 parking spaces , which is quite rare in York. Easy to walk into York centre, or by bus or taxi. Plenty of sights to see, cafes and restaurants you are spoilt for choice. The property has everything, very comfortable beds , large kitchen, separate dining room, washing m/c and dishwasher and two bathrooms. The hosts are always on hand by phone to help if you are in need. I personally think it is good value for money based on several factors, including situation, parking , plenty of room and if you are a race goer, perfect as it’s only a few mins walk. from the race course. Take a punt and book up!
