Surrounded by farmland, Tockwith Lodge Barn is a beautiful semi-detached barn conversation luxuriously furnished with quality fittings, a great sense of space, and extensive garden. In a great location, this hideaway boasts excellent access to the city of York, the lovely spa town of Harrogate, and is also within easy reach of the coast.
Curated over two floors, the open-plan living accommodation feels spacious with vast vaulted ceilings and french doors opening out into the garden. The barn is flooded with light, and has cosy underfloor heating throughout the ground floor. The large kitchen has been kitted out with high quality appliances, granite worktops, limestone flooring, electric range oven, plus a kitchen island with sit up bar area - perfect whilst cooking up a feast for family or friends to enjoy. Step up into the impressive open-plan sitting and dining area where evenings can be spent playing a board game or two before retiring upstairs to one of the two delightful bedrooms. The king-size master bedroom boasts an expansive feature window framing the countryside that surrounds the barn. The second bedroom can be made up as either a king-size bed or twin single beds - ideal for younger guests or friends joining you in your hideaway. Both rooms are complimented by a luxury family bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower.
Returning to the ground floor, the french doors lead out to the huge garden mainly laid to lawn, and a patio area offers the perfect opportunity for a summer barbecue. During your stay, feeding the chickens is a must. Don't forget to say 'hi' to the friendly sheep that surround the garden too. Set within the grounds of the family farm, Tockwith Lodge Barn will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed after spending a short or long break in the Yorkshire countryside.
The village is just a short 12 mile drive from McArtherGlen designer shopping outlet if you fancy a spot of retail therapy, or a little further afield Newby Hall and Gardens is a perfect day out for all ages; they even have a miniature ride on train. Surrounded by farmland, this beautiful barn conversation sits between the fine city of York and the spa town of Harrogate, famous for Betty's Tearoom. The coastal towns of Scarborough and Filey are also within easy reach are for a day trip to the beach.

Tockwith Lodge Barn is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. The peaceful location is ideal of you need to unwind with sheep and chickens to feed to embrace the rural atmosphere. Owners Karen and Wayne couldn't be more attentive to ensure you have a fantastic holiday.

The barn was immaculate, spacious and well laid out. The hosts’ attention to detail and care are very evident. We enjoyed the location as we had varied venues to access easily and particularly enjoyed the sense of peace and relaxation when we returned ‘home’ to the barn. Highly recommended

Tockwith Barn, was home from home, we loved it here. Karen and Wayne were excellent hosts, left us to it, but were on hand, if any problem arose and such a nice welcome basket. The barn itself, was excellent, clean and tidy. We would definitely stay again.
