We loved the accommodation, looked attractive from the outside and it was good on the inside too. Having the living room on the 1st floor works admirably. Parking was more than adequate. Well equipped for two people. Heating (surprisingly needed in the middle of June for a couple of days!) easy to control, and then with better weather, there's a great place to sit outside. Good views out over the green. We very much appreciated the welcome package left for us. Aboyne is a lovely place with good shops - butcher, baker, groceries and general store, well stocked co-op, newsagent and a great pub with cask ales and good food.Good walks nearby and further afield. Our only very minor complaint is that we found the bed a bit on soft side, but we realise that's a very individual thing!

This cottages raises the standard of holiday cottages. It is so sleek and comfortable. The view from the living room picture window is exceptional. The heating easy to use and each room can be individually set. The whole house is generous in space and comfort. The town has all the amenities that one needs all in walking distance. Access to the cairngorms is easy. We had a super week.
