Mansefield Cottage is located just 4 miles from the beautiful fishing port town of Portsoy, with a host of local shops, restaurants and bars along with a historic harbour and beaches. This lovely cottage nestles in a semi rural location with spectacular views over the rolling countryside and the distant coast. The owners also provide a telescope, so guests can enjoy the amazing sunsets. The property has been renovated throughout 2020 and offers a large open plan living area with a tiled floor throughout, comfortable seating and Smart TV, spacious dining area and well-equipped kitchen. There is a double bedroom and a single bedroom both served by a contemporary bathroom. Outside there is a seating area and private parking. The coastline is filled with beautiful sandy bays where you can walk for miles, and there are numerous fishing ports and tranquil villages with a host of shops selling Scottish produce. The area is well suited for outdoor enthusiasts with many walks and cycle routes from the front door. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Excellent return stay in this beautiful cottage. Hosts provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. There's always a beautiful welcome hamper awaiting for you. The cottage is lovely and cosy, beautiful and clean with all amenities. It's in a beautiful location with plenty of surrounding villages/towns to visit. We will definitely be returning again.

We always prefer an 'out-of-the-way' location and this cottage was exactly what we wanted, very clean, warm and comfortable, hosts Margaret and Steve very welcoming, and the 'welcome pack' almost enough to keep anyone for a week with pretty much everything you can think of, and some things you wouldn't expect! Shops/supermarkets are a few miles away, but what we are used to in the small village we live in back home , and easy to get to with plenty of coastal villages and towns to occupy your time.Highly recommended for a comfortable and quiet holiday, a long 450 mile drive each way to get there for us, but well worth it.
